David Siegel is the founding attorney of the Law Office of David T. Siegel, LLC, an estate planning, special needs planning, and elder law firm, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The practice of law is David’s second career. He entered the practice of law with the goal of helping families plan for their financial and healthcare futures through estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning.
Estate Planning is not death planning, it is life planning. David utilizes his skills and knowledge of estate law to build comprehensive and unique estate plans that are customized and tailored to meet a family’s relationship, financial, healthcare, and tax planning goals. The plans he builds are designed to provide each client protection, control, and flexibility throughout the life of the plan. Life changes occur; so these plans are designed to meet the changes that may arise during a client’s life head on, including: incapacity, divorce, second marriages, a change in financial circumstances, and eventually death. The estate plans he designs provide security and peace of mind for multiple generations of a family.
David has become an advocate for the Special Needs community. Members of this community have unique needs and challenges that only families with special needs or disabled children and adults face on a day to day basis. He dedicated himself to become a skilled practitioner in the specialized area of special needs planning. He has a comprehensive knowledge base of the laws and planning techniques necessary to provide families of special needs loved ones the proper plans to care for and support their loved ones throughout their lives. Whether the family needs a special needs trust or guardianship of their child, David is able to provide the legal assistance necessary to satisfy the client's goals.
David is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bucks County Bar Association, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, WealthCounsel, and he is a Past President of the Bucks County Estate Planning Council.
David resides in Richboro, Pennsylvania with his wife, his two daughters, and his two dogs, Ollie and Harvey. When not working David spends time with his friends and family, playing with the dogs, watching the kids sporting events, or golfing.
